2025 Photography Bucket List

10th April 2025 | 2 minute read

It's never too late to announce plans for the rest of the year even if it's 364/365! Doesn't take much to reflect on my photography goals. Putting it out here ensures accountability. I hope my list inspires you too!

  1. Go on more photo walks.

I don't have to force myself to join a community long-term, for starters just appearing is good enough! Also, own time own target!

  2. Spend a day doing a local drone shoot.

Tough to conduct in Singapore, but with enough research through the power of the internet I think I can do it!

  3. Post a minimum of 3 cinematic Instagram reels.

Videography is a new skill I wish to pick up! I made a vlog with Premiere Pro last year and hope to up my game with DaVinci Resolve this year.

  4. Conduct shoots at live events.

I enjoyed Aliwal Urban Arts Festival and lion dance in Orchard Road earlier this year so I hope to do more!

  5. Capture insects.

I’ve never tried macro photography before, so capturing insects is a must! Without a macro lens of course!

  6. Doing portrait photography.

Have done a few in the past for this one photography class. Instructing a person to pose is not something I would do lol but I would love to try!

  7. Shooting in the rain.

Drizzles yes. During, no. I have this idea of frozen raindrops almost like the matrix. I’m not sure how effective capturing rain during the daytime is compared to nighttime, but the thought of it seems super cool if executed well!

I may update the list along the way but these 7 would do good!
